The leaves are turning, the days are getting shorter and, because I live in Vancouver, there's a good wind/rain storm brewing outside - I really do like autumn! It seems like I'm finally getting my life back under control - for a while there my life was work, work, work, a little sleep, and then maybe some more work just for the hell of it. Thanks to the long weekend - hooray for Thanksgiving and turkey - I managed to catch on my sleep, de-stress slightly and actually work on a few photos. I don't know what anyone else's impressions are yet of the latest additions to my gallery but I'm acutally starting to feel like I'm improving (and I retain the right to retract that statement if everyone says they're crap ).

Another rather entertaining - and random - thing going on in my life at the moment is the fact that I'm taking part in a radio contest called 'Wear the Fox Hat' and yes it's pretty much what it sounds like. I'm wearing a furry grey toque with ears and an ID tag. I have to wear for a total of 50 days but I'm already at about day 34 I think (it comes off Oct 25th). Now what could possess me to do this you might be wondering - how about the chance to win a trip anywhere in the world? unfortunately, it is only a 'chance', there's another 196 people in this contest as well but it's not a total write-off if I don't win the whole deal. I've already won some cash, 4 tix to a hockey game and 2 tix to a Finger Eleven & Sum 41 concert. Anyway now I'm rambling but hey I do tend to do that.

Another fabulous thing about this time of year, one word - Hallowe'en! Time to dust off and improve my She-Ra costume
